In 2017, I did a Prodigal Son series for Sparrow’s Nest, so I’m very excited to do some painting at their upcoming banquet!
At this festival, I’ll have 2 booths- one with my usual display of prints + originals for sale, and a second booth for live painting and kids activities! I love trying new booth set-ups, so I’m excited to give this a go!
Here’s some more info from the festival’s website:
“What do you get when you mix incredible live entertainment on a large, beautiful stage, a whimsical artist market featuring 100 regional artisans, a Kidz Zone loaded with fun, the popular “Pet World,” a Classic Car Show, a delicious food court and a Peachtree Road Race qualifier to kick the whole thing off – all set in a beautiful park? Of course, you get the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival, which ushers in the springtime on March 30 & 31 from 10 am to 6 pm at Blackburn Park, a true landmark of the hopping City of Brookhaven – just 15 minutes north of downtown Atlanta!”
I’ll be out on St. Simon’s Island for this little arts festival!

Here’s a description of the festival from their website:
“Inman Park Spring Festival takes place in one of Atlanta's oldest and most scenic neighborhoods. First developed in the late 1800s, Inman Park is home to many historic homes and parks. The Festival began in the early 1970s as a means to attract attention to gentrification efforts that sought to revitalize the community.
The festival offers something for everybody. Music, kids activities, a Tour of Homes, a marvelous street parade, an artists' market, some of the city's best people-watching. Come early, stay late, and be our guests at Atlanta's best street festival.”

Chomp and Stomp is a fun one! Everyone gathers to showcase the best of the Atlanta art scene, the foodie scene (via a Chili Cookoff- yum!), and the folksy music scene. The whole fest pays homage to the historic Cabbagetown culture- don't miss out on this unique experience!

I participated in Sunday in the Park for the first time last year, and it's quite the unique show! Of all of the festivals I do year round, this one is for sure the odd one out- in a good way! First of all, it takes place in a cemetery, so the setting itself is a little grim. The vendors, artists, and entertainment lean towards darker themes, which, juxtaposed with my bright, cheery art, makes for a great spectacle! If you've never seen this show, I think it's worth your time to experience the darker art of Atlanta. See you there!
LOCATION: Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta
WHEN: Sunday September 30 from noon- 6pm

This will be my 4th Roswell Festival! I missed it last year to try another festival, but I'm back this year to give it another go! I'm excited for you to experience this festival- I love it because it's so selective and tight knit. You'll find some great handpicked artists of great variety. And even though this time of the year is often unbearably hot, this fest is held on the grass, so it stays much cooler than most! It's all around a lovely time, so I hope I see you out there!
